Haryana Weeklong Lockdown Starts Today Amid Covid Surge: Know What’s Allowed, What’s Not
Both domestic and international passengers arriving at any of the airports in Haryana will be thermally screened. If they are found to be symptomatic, they will need to be tested for COVID-19 at their own expense.
With the resumption of commercial domestic aviation services in the country, any person from an Indian state can enter Haryana.
Domestic travelers who are asymptomatic will not be quarantined; they will be allowed to leave with advice to monitor their own health for 14 days. All passengers are also advised to download the Aarogya Setu app on their mobile phone and fill the self check-in form.
According to the Migration Office, all international travelers traveling to Haryana must compulsorily fill an online self-declaration form at least 72 hours before leaving for India. Upon arrival, all travelers must undergo a 14-day quarantine, consisting of 7 days of paid institutional quarantine at their own expense, followed by 7 days of home isolation/suitable accommodation with self-monitoring of health status.
New Night Curfew Timings
For compelling reasons or cases of human distress such as pregnancy, death in the family, serious illness and parent(s) with children aged 10 years or younger, home quarantine for 14 days may be permitted.
Travelers can also request an exemption from institutional quarantine by submitting a negative RT-PCR test report upon arrival. This test should have been done within 96 hours before departure for the trip. The test report should be uploaded to the portal for consideration.
Several hotels in Haryana offer paid quarantine facilities for international travelers. Readers are advised to check with hotel authorities for the current status of facilities for quarantined travelers.
As approved by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Haryana’s coronavirus tests are of the following types: Real-Time RT PCR Tests, Rapid Antigen Tests, CBNAAT Tests and TrueNat Tests.

Along with government medical centres, a number of private laboratories have been set up as per ICMR guidelines to meet the requirements of COVID-19 testing in Haryana. There are an estimated 22 government hospitals/laboratories and 27 private hospitals in the state of Haryana that are conducting testing for COVID-19 using various diagnostic modalities.
You should be tested for COVID-19 if you have one or more of the following clinical symptoms for a long time: fever, difficulty breathing, cough, sore throat, runny nose, loss of taste or smell, and body aches. It would take between 3 hours and 2 days for the test results to arrive. Until then, you must isolate yourself to prevent the spread of infection.

Heavy snowfall is likely to occur at high altitudes in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar districts on December 2, according to the regional meteorological centre. Light to moderate rain is likely to fall in the foothills on December 2 and 3.

The meteorological service has predicted extremely heavy rain in the state for the next seven days. Seven districts have been asked to remain on high alert: Uttarakashi, Tehri Garhwal, Dehradun and Pauri from Garhwal region and Pithoragarh, Bageshwar and Nainital from Kumaon division.
