Located on the outskirts of WDW within a 482-acre nature preserve, the Waldorf Astoria Orlando offers chic amenities and serenity, but comes at a high nightly price. Rooms are the equivalent of Disney Deluxe Resorts and start at $500 per night (depending on season and cabin).

Amenities are good with an outdoor pool, fitness center, transportation to and from WDW, and the convenience of a pre-booked Fastpass+ selection. Each room is equipped with refrigerators, making it possible to store essentials. Check their website for special offers, such as children 10 and under eat free breakfast with a paying adult.
What I love about this hotel is that each room is spacious which is a plus when you are traveling with children! Double Tree Suites by Hilton Disney Spring’s location, amenities, and access to Extra Magic Hours and Fastpass+ advanced booking make it one of my family’s top picks!
Four Seasons Resort Orlando has it all, including beautiful rooms with views of the Magic Kingdom. That’s how close you are to the magic at this AAA Diamond Resort. The amenities that come with the stay justify the high resort fees. Extra Magic Mornings and advance Fastpass+ selections are also available here. An added bonus, apart from the 5-hectare water park, 5-star restaurants and free children’s camp, is the Disney character breakfast served at the Ravello restaurant (Thursdays and Saturdays only, for a fee).
Walt Disney World Swan
Nestled on 1,500 private acres, this welcoming hotel offers guests tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of WDW. If you’re planning to take a vacation from WDW, the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress offers fun activities like rock climbing, golf, and swimming in their lagoon-like pool. Rates start at $170 per night (depending on season and occupancy), which is great, but the resort fees are a bit high at $42.75 per night.
Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites Waterpark is on our top ten list of off-site Walt Disney World hotels for many reasons! Not only is it an official Walt Disney World Good Neighbor hotel, but it’s less than a mile from the WDW entrance. And the pool is what convinced me and my family to book here! Did I say pool? I meant a water park with a pool, water slides, fun pool activities and a splash pad. As if that weren’t enough, there’s a 4-D experience, the Bank Heist Laser Challenge, miniature golf and an arcade on site.
There are no Disney perks available here, but there are plenty of great deals for families with kids 12 and under with kids eat free perks at select local restaurants. Check the hotel’s website for more information.
Rooms start at $66.50 a night (depending on season and number of passengers)! With so many great activities, this price is fantastic! Resort fees are reasonable for all hotel amenities, including the above and shuttle service to and from surrounding areas.

What I love about all of the Embassy Suites hotels is their availability. Yes, Embassy Suites Orlando I-Drive is expensive, but the amenities are worth it! The rooms have always been super clean and comfortable when my family has stayed here. And each room is spacious as a two bedroom suite! What I also find useful is the microwave and mini fridge in each room. Guests can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast and evening reception, including complimentary snacks, beverages and cocktails. And the pools are great – one inside and one outside.
Yes, guests are a bit further from downtown WDW, but the free shuttle to and from the parks and walking distance to fabulous restaurants and shops make it well worth it.
