While this is great news for discerning travelers (and I count myself among them), not all new expensive and glitzy hotels meet the standards of a truly proven and memorable experience. In my humble opinion, few hotels come close to providing the consistency of exceptional excellence that luxury-minded groups expect these days. These brands exist and leave the competition with excellent service, exceptional locations (be it beach, city or remote desert location), first-class facilities, superior gastronomy, spectacular accommodation, and – last but not least – environmentally conscious policies.
