The fourth in George Miller’s Mad Max series, this one stars Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron as they free a group of women across an apocalyptic wasteland with some of the best performances of all time. There is no doubt that it is one of the best adventure movies.

Kind of a guilty pleasure for me these movies are as you can imagine. We also follow Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicolas Cage) as he tries to clear the name of his ancestors who were allegedly involved in the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.
If you’ve seen Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, or Brokeback Mountain, you know what Ang Lee can do in the middle. This film is another example of his art. It stars Irrfan Khan, Suraj Sharma and Gautam Belur as Pi Patel (three different ages). Next up is Life of Pi, yes you guessed it, Life of Pi. It describes how Pi finds a way to survive in a lifeboat floating through space, while the royal Bengal tiger and hyena take care of him.
A film about the Mayan empire, set in 1502, Apocalypto follows the escape of Jaguar Paw, a peaceful village hunter who is taken along with his entire village to be sacrificed to God. Experts say the film is a negative view of the Mayan Empire. But with that in mind, it’s a very interesting film.
We are not making a list of art films, we are not looking at works of art here. If we do, I would include The Green Knight (2021). That’s why Kingsman. This movie is very interesting. I recommend you watch the whole series. This follows the story of Eggsy who goes through various problems and is recruited into the secret service as a spy to track down an eco-terrorist named Richmond Valentine.
