A bottled water stand at the tee box can be an important addition on a hot or humid day, especially if alcohol is consumed on the course. A great vendor or sponsor opportunity is to hand out logoed water bottles, or even host water stations with signs. Not only does this have a great effect on golfers, but it helps reduce cases of dehydration as well.
Your golf professional challenges the group to a Closest to the Pin competition. Teams will purchase to participate. If anyone hits a better shot than the pro, that golfer gets a small prize. No better shot = no prize UNLESS the golfer can use that pro shot as the next shot, for a better score.
Teams are timed from tee off to hole out, usually on a par 3. The fastest time wins, and the team is announced at the end of the tournament.
A dunk tank is placed in a location where space is available, and it is not on the swing path – usually on a par 5. The object is to dunk someone by throwing a softball at the target. If you make it with your throw (or 2-3), you are allowed to tee off from the front tee. The higher cost of the game in this course gets back the amount discussed afterwards by your players.

On the par 5, players are given a left-handed driver (lefties get a right-handed driver) – you can usually borrow a demo driver from the Pro Shop. After the group hits their normal tee shot, press them and take a swing from the other side of the ball. The furthest, wins.
Each of the four competes with himself. Group winners get a voucher for a bottle of wine to take away at the end of the day.
Hire a wall or barrier of some kind – your vendor or sponsor can help choose what this is, whether it’s a 10 foot wall, an inflatable sports drink or some other barrier that gives their product or service exposure on the course. Each player must hit a wedge shot from 30 yards past this obstacle.
On the tee box, have everyone reach into the bag and pull out a piece of paper. The paper tells them the name of the club they must play… and then plays the entire hole with just that club.

If no one sinks the putt then the one closest to the hole wins. If more than one person succeeds, then there will be a delay. During the putt off everyone who makes the putt gets an extra chance at the hole. The player who gets the ball closest to the hole wins if no one makes it into the hole during the putt off.

This is a fun way to give away lots of prizes at your event and keep your golfers happy.

They chose a team captain to be our BIG FUZZY PIN-UP DICE GOLF roller. If they roll 1-6, the team can go to the women’s tee box to add it. If they roll 7 – 12 teams go for 375 yards. marker in the middle of the fairway for tee up. If they double roll they go to an area 75 yards from the green to chip from. Pin-Up Golf will mark each designated spot with a sign so golfers know where to go. We also sometimes only use 1 of the Die and have a different yardage or prize for each number they roll. The game is played on a par 4 or par 5 golf course, preferably with a downhill course. Players guess how far they believe they will drive the ball off the tee. Pin-Up Golf staff records this information. Golfers must use a driver or 3-wood. After the golf ball is hit, (the ball must be hit with full force – with a common club on the hole) we use Bushnell Laser Rangefinder Binoculars to focus on the ball and measure the distance. The winner is either the person who guesses closest to his or her distance for the big prize or everyone who gets within 10 yards of their guess for the smaller prize or we can do both. It’s pretty high-tech and impressive.
The game is available on a par 4 or 5 golf course We have 4 golf balls in a bag or bucket each ball has one of the following slogans:
After the golfer hits their drive off the tee, we will pull ONE BALL out of the Bag and whatever is said is who will win the prize. This is a fun game because you don’t necessarily have to hit a good shot to win a prize.
The game is set up similar to the On The Green game on the Par 3 holes of the golf course. However, we put 30 feet. circle around the pin and if the player hits their ball and it lands in the circle, they win a prize. This makes it more challenging for experienced golfers. We can also make this a money pit game for extra donations and if they land in a circle they double the money.
