Party Favor Ideas Kid Birthday – – I have no idea! We still haven’t held a traditional party for her with friends, and instead have celebrated her with fun experiences. We woke him up with balloons and did a day at the zoo, a park picnic, a “pizza party” at home, presents and cake… it was perfect and best of all – it was all about
Our first year sending treats and party favors to the school so that her class could take part in Eliza’s birthday fun. We went completely simple and uber affordable on her preschool party favors and treats but sometimes, the logistics of even the simplest things can be a little difficult. My car was in the shop for weeks for minor body repairs and even without the lack of readily available transportation, we’ve had contractors in the house — showing up at unexpected times almost daily — so I’ve been anchored to my home unless absolutely necessary. Today, I’m sharing five kids’ party favor ideas, along with details on how Walmart + has been an extra benefit this summer!

Ava’s 6th Flower Birthday Party — The Overwhelmed Mommy Blog
Although I think that online ordering has been a very special friend to many of us in the past year, I have especially appreciated it in recent months as I have had to stay close to home. Fast and free shipping have also become “heroes” in our household as we have become more accustomed to instant gratification and convenience. I was already familiar with Walmart’s easy curbside pickup – ordering online and quickly swinging into the parking lot to bring my order to my car – but now, there’s even something
. When I ordered Eliza’s party favors for her class, I wanted to stick with simple bubble sticks with pretty ribbon trimmings. Not too fancy, cheap enough to do a lot, and still a crowd favourite. As I mentioned, I have had it delivered to the house and when I looked for something so simple, I realized that 1. many retailers prices are higher to justify such a small value item, or there were shipping costs because even bubble mess wands don’t meet normal shipping minimums. Freshly signed up for Walmart+, not only was THIS pack of bubble sticks (currently retailing for just $4.64/6-pack) eligible for two-day shipping, but they still free shipping. I ordered a few packages and called my shopping savvy, free, no driving a success!
While I love free two-day shipping – even for something as small as a pack of bubble sticks that would normally have a shipping surcharge/minimum, Walmart + actually has free same-day delivery – o your local store with a minimum of $35 – as one of their biggest benefits to tons of customers. We live alone and
Too far out of range at the moment and I hope we will be included soon as they continue to expand this part of the membership. I ran my father’s address even though he doesn’t live far from us, and while he is still in a more rural area, he is included in free same day delivery from his shop. You can check your address HERE to see if you are eligible for this portion of the membership benefits.

While I’ve mentioned some of the benefits, here’s a more comprehensive list of what you get with a Walmart+ membership:
Walmart+ membership is priced at $98/year or $12.95/month. BUT, you can try it for free for 30 days HERE.
Even after my house has less people in it every day and I no longer face logistical challenges ( 😉 ), I am already proud of how much time the membership has and will save me on those essentials, orders spontaneous, and random items that are most useful to display on my doorstep.
And, I had so much fun putting together Eliza’s simple favors – well, I didn’t stop there. I got a little carried away and started brainstorming easy, affordable party ideas. And with my Walmart+ membership, every piece I needed showed up at my doorstep

Although we haven’t started hosting the parties yet, these ideas can be paired or simplified for a whole class party. If you’re hosting just a few friends, each of these party favor ideas can also be expanded if you prefer the goodie bags to be more elaborate. These party favors are all themed bundles that are totally affordable and easy to build!
Occasion THESE bubble sticks come in a 6-pack for $4.64 and the sidewalk chalk comes with 20 pieces (and it’s only 98¢/container!) For that price, you could even give each person their own box , haha. You can find the plastic treat bags I used to tie it all together HERE.
Grab a bucket of animal figurines (THIS comes with 40 pieces for under $10), and toss a few in each treat bag with animal crackers. However, the real MVP of this party are these felt animal masks! They come as a 12 pack for $11.99 and are ADORABLE in person!
I thought of “You float my boat, Valentine” and tied THESE little plastic boats to packages of goldfish for Eliza’s class, Valentines. It was easy to expand from there to round out a fun themed party favor. THESE classic inflatable beach balls ARE .97¢/ea., the boats come in a 3-pack for $2.50, and THESE water blasters come as a two-pack for $5.43, right now.
Harry Potter Party Favors
THESE plastic quart containers with lids can serve as nature collectors, scavenger hunt buckets, or with a few holes, bug / firefly catchers! THESE nets are a decent size and can be found HERE and the flashlights come in at $1/ea.
It’s as simple as grabbing a few bulk art supplies and sharing! While I went for cheap coloring books, you can also go for activity books or drawing pads. Bonus if you sneak a few sheets of stickers inside the treat bags!
Many of the components for these ideas were available at my local store — at Walmart.com — so for those of you who
Eligible and in range of free delivery from your local store (with a minimum order of $35), most of these could have arrived the same day. How convenient is that? If you’re like me and you’re not quite in range right now, you’ll still get fast and free shipping with a Walmart+ membership. Again, you can check your address for same day delivery eligibility HERE.
Dollar Store Party Favors! Best Kids Diy Party Favors
Do you have any past winning party favors (EASY) for preschoolers/age children – for both at a party or school? I’d love to hear about them in the comments section below! One year we made the mistake of not having treat bags at my son’s birthday party. Rivers were crying. And we learned our lesson in a hurry. But the thing with treat bags is that they have to hit 3 points; not containing too much sugar, not costing too much money, and being fun for the recipient. It’s a tall order. So for future reference I’ve rounded up 28 of the best birthday party favor ideas I could find. Most of these ideas include free printables, but some will require a little more guesswork on your part.
I tried to find a lot of non-candy options, mostly because it drives me crazy when my boys come home from a party with loot bags full of sugar. I’m not anti-sugar at all, but things like lollipops, sparkling sugar powder, ring pops, etc. make my kids go crazy. Chocolates or small cookies usually don’t affect them too much.
Some of these favorite birthday party ideas are just a design idea for the printable bag or topper, and you’ll have to come up with the treat ideas. I usually cruise through the Dollar store to find some appropriate handle bag fillers. But now I can also refer to this post long before future parties for more creative ideas!
Unicorn Treat Bags – If it were me, I’d only put in 4-5 kisses. Then I would put glitter-y stickers or nail polish or bracelet making kits with sparkly beads on top.
Dinosaur Party Favor Ideas
Rainbow to Go – You can find rainbow twizzlers on Amazon. This topper would also work with a set of markers or paint or fruit loops!
Sip Sip Hooray – Amazon has a variety pack of 40 twist straws. And they’re completely reusable too, so the sea turtles won’t hate you.
Adopt a Dinosaur – This idea would work with small stuffed animals too depending on your budget. This is a lovely set of 6 jungle animal stuff for about $16.
Colorful Favor Tag – You could make these with a small pack of crayons or markers too. But I saw the stackable colored pencils shown on Amazon here.
Party Favor Idea For Kids: Birdhouse Crafting Kits
Art Kit – I love non-candy party favors, especially ones that inspire creativity. The Dollar store has lots of great inexpensive craft supplies to choose from. My local fabric craft shop has been acquiring a large selection of wooden elements as well.
