Start the day with a river cruise along the Chao Phraya River to explore the famous ‘xlongs’ (canals) (approx. 1 hour). Here you will have free time to explore one of the oldest rainforests in the world. Hike dirt trails through the tranquil park, spotting wildlife as you make your way to streams and waterfalls. The flora is also top notch, with one of the world’s largest flowers, the rare Rafflesia Kerry, only found here in Thailand. Spend a night in a rustic hut among the ancient swirling rainforest trees.
Travel through pristine jungle, rubber and oil plantations, before boarding a long-tail boat to take a stroll on the stunning Cheow Lan Lake. The area is incredibly scenic, with limestone karst hills rising nearly 1,000 meters into the air and surrounded by beautiful green waters. Go to an island cave and explore its eerie stalactites and bats hanging from the ceiling, with underground streams beneath your feet.
