According to a legend, these kings competed to seize this part of the country and include it in their respective kingdoms. One day King Holger Alvunger invited the other two kings to dinner. Nobody knew it, the king had poisoned the food of his guests and they succumbed to their unfortunate fate at the table. When the villagers found out what had happened, they wanted to avenge the dead. To escape the villagers, King Holger consumed the poisoned food and died too. Then the three kings were buried in the church premises. Although physically dead, their spirits still roam the area. Locals have reported that they can hear strange loud noises echoing from the church after sunset and it is believed to be the Three Kings!
