The biggest concern for Claudia is how to get in and out of the country during COVID, especially since Egyptian news and regulations are difficult to follow abroad. But she said the whole process was flawless, thanks to her friends’ guidance.
When disembarking in Cairo, Claudia must show proof of a negative PCR test taken no later than 72 hours before arrival. Upon departure, she needs another negative PCR test no later than 72 hours before landing in the United States. Thanks to her friend, Claudia knows where to go to get that second test. “Egypt has laboratories, walk-ins and hospitals that do PCR tests the next day, in addition to home visits,” he said.
