Over millions of years, the Virgin River carved its way through layers of rock to form the Zion Gorge. The canyon is winding and rocky, creating one of the most unique hiking trails in the world. This is a typical slot canyon hike with high canyon walls, azure blue water and beautiful views at every turn.
There are several different ways you can climb the Narrows. Most people hike from the bottom up, a round trip that takes you several miles upstream through some of the most beautiful parts of the canyon.
For the ultimate experience, take the Top Down Hike, a 16-mile adventure that can be completed as an epic day hike or an overnight backpacking trip.

The Haute Walker route is a high-altitude route from Chamonix in France to Zermatt in Switzerland. It does 10 alpine routes over 200 km of hiking. Along the way, you climb past Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn. It is one of the most demanding multi-day treks in Europe.
This is one of the world’s leading tourist routes. For 7 to 10 days you will hike around Mont Blanc through the Alps in Italy, France and Switzerland. It is a challenging route with a total of 10,000 meters of ascent and descent, but you will be rewarded with beautiful mountain views and visits to picturesque alpine towns.
Both are spectacular hikes through the Alps. If you like the idea of fewer people and more variety in terms of scenery, choose the Haute Route. If you want to climb one of the most popular hiking routes in the world, take the Tour du Mont Blanc.
The Bolivian salt flats, also called Salar de Uyuni, are the largest salt flats in the world. It is also one of the most surreal countries in the world. In March and April, the salt flats are covered with several inches of standing water, creating an incredibly reflective landscape. For the rest of the month, you can witness a vast white landscape as far as the eye can see.

Most people visit the salt flats on a 2, 3 or 4 day tour from Uyuni, Bolivia. You can also take a tour from San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. It is worth spending at least 4 days exploring the salt flats and the nearby countryside. Eduardo Avaroa National Park is another unique landscape where you can see volcanoes, colorful lakes and flamingos.
The Colorado River winds through five national parks and several state parks and national monuments. Choose from one-day trips to multi-day trips. Enjoy the experience as you drift through desert canyons and pass some of the best scenery in the US.
The most popular place to raft the Colorado River (and the most famous rafting in the world) is through the Grand Canyon. The tour usually takes 6 to 7 days, covering about 190 miles and crossing 60 rapids along the way.
You can also do a multi-day rafting trip through Moab or through Cataract Canyon in Canyonlands National Park.

The GR20 has been promoted as one of the most difficult hiking routes in Europe. This route runs through the spine of the island of Corsica in France. It is not technically challenging, but those planning this hike should be very physically fit and prepared to hike on rugged and uneven trails.

Svalbard is a Norwegian island located in the northernmost region of the world near the North Pole. You won’t find penguins here, but if you’re lucky, you might see polar bears and walruses. Go here if you want to kayak among glaciers, go hiking, sledding or snowmobiling.
Longyearbyen is where you will spend most of your time. This is the location of the Global Seed Vault, where the seeds of every plant are stored in case some apocalyptic thing happens on our planet. During the winter, go dog sledding and go on multi-day snowmobile trips. Explore the steamy jungles of Rwanda or Uganda and see gorillas up close. It’s expensive and your time with the gorillas is short (you only get an hour on most tours), but many people avoid the amazing experience.

First, you need a permit, which costs $600-$750. You then head through the forest to the team and spend an hour with the gorillas. The entire trip can take anywhere from three to nine hours, depending on where the gorilla team is located in the park.

KKH is 800 miles long. You need a visa for Pakistan and China. You can go by bus or rent your own vehicle. If you’re quick, you’ll cover the entire distance in 4-5 days, but allow yourself plenty of time to really enjoy the scenery.
Located in Italy, the Dolomites are one of our favorite hiking spots in the world. The scenery is breathtaking, the trails are amazing, and some climbs add via ferratas or gondolas to make things really interesting.
Climbing Kjeragbolten, a huge rock wedged between two cliffs, is our most popular hike. Why? This is not only because you have the opportunity to do something really crazy, climb a boulder, but also because this hike is really fun. you are brave?
