The first zone was expanded in 2011 with the addition of an intersection with a sharp left-hand corner, followed by a sharp downward right-hand bend, joining the original design at a faster pace. The track is constantly being upgraded and the floodlights were rebuilt in winter 2017 to allow for night racing.
