Go on a study tour to the Felicidad Organic Farm, the Department-certified Co-Agriculture in the Soccskargen region. The farm is owned by Captain James “Bong” Reamon, who left commercial piloting to pursue his passion for farming.

Sanchez Peak, General Santos: Easy Trek & One Night Camping

Sanchez Peak is located in the districts of Conel and Olympog, one of the small rural towns in Gensan whose economy is mainly agriculture and other agricultural activities. The people here are very nice and warm; They will greet you with their signature, authentic Filipino smile if you cross paths with them.
There are two routes that go up to Sanchez Peak: one in Purok Balakayo in Barangay Conel and the other – near the first one – the Purok Balsinang in Barangay Olympic.
First, mountain climbing experts often recommend the Balsinang route. Even the road terrain is steep, rocky, and steep. The entrance to Balsinang is good because there are plenty of trees to shade you from the hot sun.
Although it is not accessible by any kind of vehicle, the route offers a good view of Gensan and the nearby areas on foot. Athletes are advised to take Balsinang to train their strength and stamina.
