With its rural setting and beautiful sandy beaches, Devon is a particularly popular UK holiday destination for families. Visitors are spoiled for choice with things to do and places to see in Devon.

Getting to the island is relatively easy as there are several Isle of Wight ferry routes (Portsmouth, Southampton and Leamington) and even a hovercraft if you don’t take a car.

There are plenty of things to do in Cornwall with children and if the weather turns then a trip to the world famous Eden Project should be top of your list.
