Best Travel Bloggers In The World

Best Travel Bloggers In The World – I’m not going to lie: I think I have a pretty good travel blog. (If you’re here, you probably are too.) I work hard to provide excellent practical travel advice to help you travel better, but I’m not the only travel blogger out there who is great. Of course – and I know this may sound overwhelming – there are a lot of things about travel that I’m not an expert at. Family trip? No comment. Traveling like a woman? Illogical. Information about hotels? Only a little. Taking pictures? If it’s important, I can turn on my camera. A food expert? Just for food.

I realize it’s been a while since I last mentioned the best travel blogs I’ve read, so I wanted to take a moment to highlight some of my favorite travel blogs that help you travel better, cheaper. and smarter. There are so many great blogs out there that I feel like it’s too late to point you to some of them:

Jodi is a great blogger who writes frequently about food and culture, as well as always being one of my favorite people. He spends a lot of time eating out on the road, taking mouthwatering photos and making me jealous of his ability to do it. A former lawyer is also writing a series called “Exciting Hours” about other lawyers who give up a lifetime of physical strain on the road.

If there was a contest for the best travel blog, I would tell everyone to vote for me. Then I would vote for Audrey and Dan. They tell heartwarming stories and take wonderful, out-of-this-world photos. Their blog focuses on cultural travel and sustainability (they even work with the UN Global Sustainable Tourism Council). I focus on the basic details of places going but they focus on people. They’re just great storytellers.

I met Alex years ago in New York and have been friends ever since. The article’s author has dived on Koh Tao, Alex is a photographer, graphic designer, travel lover, and diving expert currently touring America. Her blog features great photography, diving tips, travel stories, and biting and self-deprecating humor. Plus, I helped her choose her blog name, so it’s hard not to love her.

Kiersten’s site focuses on the intersection of fashion and travel. She gives tips and advice to women on what to wear, pack and see while abroad and focuses more on travel, comfort than I do. I think her blog is one of the best for female travelers, and I have found useful information that I have shared with others, although it was not aimed at me. Kiersten and I are friends and I love watching her site grow and expand especially over the past year. She looks everywhere!

Nadine Sykora’s popular YouTube channel documents her experiences traveling the world. Nadine’s exciting journey makes her videos worth watching! It’s funny, clever, and a little weird, but the way it shoots really puts you right in the middle of it. There’s a reason it’s one of the biggest travel channels on YouTube!

World’s 10 Most Influential Travelers, According To Forbes

Gary Leff is the “OG” of travel research. While I read many travel blogs, I follow Gary because he provides industry analysis and behind-the-scenes information on loyalty programs and airlines. Gary not only provides travel reports or shares deals and rewards deals, but also gives you context and a better understanding of how travel tips and airlines work.

My kind soul, Earl is a mad traitor like me. We both love budget travel, backpacking, blogging, and everything in between (and yes, we’re good friends in real life too). I read Earl’s blog because he goes to places not many people visit (Kurdistan, anyone?) I’ve been reading for years and he deserves a feature! (He’s also one of the few bloggers I know who doesn’t accept sponsored content or tours!)

It’s one of my favorite blogs as it talks about the “real” side of travel and isn’t afraid to be political, talk about racial prejudices while traveling, and talk about life as a black female traveller. With so many travel posts from a white perspective, it’s really nice to hear from someone else. Not only that, the tips and tricks are very helpful and the texts and pictures are spot on.

Lauren is the most accident prone traveler I know. Everything that goes wrong usually goes wrong when she travels, she. One of the most unlucky travelers I know. But all that uncertainty leads to great travel stories, and her blog is full of funny stories that will keep you entertained for hours.

Kristin is an adventurous solo female traveler and resident expert on all things solo female travel. She’s not afraid to go out of the ordinary and explore lesser-visited places, she shares tips and tricks along the way. She takes great photos and also makes great YouTube videos (one of the least underrated travel YouTubers out there if you ask me). She has been traveling and creating insightful, engaging content for over 5 years. Even if you are not a solo traveller, you will still enjoy his posts and videos.

Mike and Anne quit their jobs in 2012 to go on a long honeymoon. Eight years have passed and they are still on the road. They’ve made road trips across the US with their trailers, stayed at some of the world’s greatest glamping sites, and written the ultimate couples travel experience book. They’re an adventurous couple with a focus on the outdoors and sustainability, and they share tons of tips on caravan living, couples travel, and long-term travel.

Chubby Diaries is directed by Jeff Jenkins and focuses on plus-size travel. Her blog deals with body shaping and provides resources and inspiration for travelers of all shapes and sizes. His optimism and optimism are contagious and he never hesitates to tell things as they happen. Jeff is doing his best to shake things up and make the travel space more inclusive. A great person who creates great content.

Adam is one of the best LGBTQ bloggers out there. (He’s also written a ton of LGBTQ content for this site!) He focuses on gay travel and lifestyle content, with a particular focus on innovative city guides. If you want to know where to find the coolest bars, the coolest cafes, and the best nightlife spots, Adam is the man to ask. As a former tourist, she has tons of great content about Berlin, one of the most progressive and artistic cities in Europe.

You can book your hostel with Hostelworld. If you want to stay somewhere other than hostels, use Booking.com, which regularly offers the cheapest rates for guesthouses and hotels.

Travel insurance protects you against sickness, injury, theft and cancellation. It is complete protection in case something goes wrong. I would never go on a trip without it because I have had to use it many times in the past. Here are my favorite companies that offer the best service and value:

Travel credit cards allow you to earn points that can be redeemed for free flights and accommodation. They’re the ones that make me travel so much for so little. Check out my guide on choosing the right card and my current favourites, to get started and see the latest deals.

Check out my resources page for the best companies to use when traveling. I make a list of what I use when traveling. They are best in class and you can’t go wrong using them on your trip.
