Llandudno Best Hotel In The World – A Welsh hotel has been named the best in the UK by TripAdvisor – and it’s not the first time its success has been celebrated.
The Lawton & Lauriston Court Hotel in Llandudno has been named the UK’s best hotel in the 2020 Travellers’ Choice Awards, as well as being ranked 3rd in Europe and 13th in the world.

Llandudno also achieved another success as the Elm Tree Hotel won the UK’s Best Service Award and was ranked 22nd in the world for a romantic getaway.

Milverton House was ranked 21st in Europe in the Small Hotels category and 19th in Europe in the B&B category.
Carol-Lynn Robbins, director of the Lawton & Lauriston Court Hotel, said on North Wales Live: “To say we are delighted is an understatement.
“We are a family hotel and have a great team that appreciates our ‘nothing is a problem’ approach.
“We are never satisfied and always looking to improve the ways we have and give more.

“We were able to take advantage of the lockdown period (when it was safe) to paint the hotel inside and out.”
He added: “We are grateful to have won the Travels Choice Awards for many years and every year we use this as a spark to improve and grow the business.
“To be ranked number one in the UK’s Best Hotels category against some fantastic competition at the moment and to know it’s all down to the feedback from our guests, all the hard work has definitely been worth it.”
The awards are based on the quality and quantity of the millions of reviews, opinions and ratings collected on TripAdvisor in 2019.

With more than 8.7 million business listings on Tripadvisor, the award is a true testament to the exceptional service and quality that the winner consistently provides to its guests.
