Here is my question. I simply paid a deposit on a hiking trip in New Zealand that is 1.5 years away. They require journey insurance coverage and stated to beware that some companies require insurance coverage to be purchased inside 7 days of making the preliminary deposit. Another companies I researched required you to input the date of your first deposit for the trip, so I’m guessing that applies with them.
